Tony Kosub is running for state representative in District 122 to return power to the people of this district who deserve a representative that will truly represent them in the Texas Legislature. He desires to strengthen the people's voice in this district as the only Republican candidate who will fight against toll roads, the margins tax hurting small businesses, an unsecured border, and government invasion of our privacy. Tony is a conservative Republican and the only true fiscal conservative seeking to represent you.
• Native San Antonian
Born in San Antonio, Tony Kosub is the oldest of five children, and his parents moved to the La Vernia area when he was a young child. His family has strong Christian values. His mother taught all of her children the lessons of the Bible. A hard working father instilled a strong work ethic in Tony and his siblings from a young age. Additionally, growing up the grandson of a farmer and rancher, Tony learned to build fence, handle livestock, and most importantly, appreciate and respect living close to the land. Beginning at a young age, Tony's values were shaped by faith, family, and hard work.
• Shaping the Future

Tony serves as an educator. Currently, he teaches eighth grade English, and he coaches seventh grade boys' football, basketball, and track in the North East Independent School District. Completing his undergraduate degree at Texas Lutheran University (TLU) in Seguin, he made the dean's list every semester. For three seasons he played football for TLU and earned all conference honors and the prestigious Captain Thomas Eddy Character Award. He has a masters degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University at Kingsville.
